More on finding out

So I am still on the the side of the fence that says that I don’t want to find out the sex of Little E the birth and I have come up with the what I like for a response

Q: So are you find out what the sex of the child is?
A: Nope, we are just praying for a healthy child and that is all that we can ask.

So that is going to be my standard response. Erin also heard of an interesting idea, taking a small card to the sonogram and have the technician write boy or girl on the card and seal it for us. That way we can take the card with us home and once we get home we can figure out if we really want to know or not and not make a snap decision while were are at the office visit… I just think the card would be to tempting so we shall see.

For now, I don’t want to know until the birth.

Tons of news

It seems like an eternity since I dropped a note in here so here is what has gone one since I last wrote and what has made me go ngahhhh.

Grandpa Dale (my dad) arrived and we totally surprised him with the balloons, it took a second but then he realized what the pink and blue balloons meant. How great is that, I got to see my dad as well as tell him that he was going to be a grandpa to you Little E. Dad shared the news with Belva and then Erin and I spoke with her.

Your grandpa and I busted a move on the new shingles and realized that we are not cut out for that type of work… for his age and my lack of being in that sorta shape. We had some help from great brothers in Christ as well as Joe after he arrived.

After Lori, Joe, and Grayson arrived we had some dinner we took them on a tour of the house and showed them into the nursery to let them in on the news. Me being somewhat impatient to tell my mom we rushed into the office and surprised her via the web cam (iChat).

Everyone is so excited with the news of your planned arrival. We just pray for your help and growth.

After a great visit it was time to wish the family a farewell on a couple of different days. It tore my heart apart to hear Grayson wave and say ‘bye bye uncie dan’, it still almost brings a tear to my ear thinking back on it. He is growing up so fast and it is wonderful to see the Love of a child so pure and unconditional. Little E I pray that for the rest of your life you know that your mommy, and I along w/ Jesus will Love you with that pure and unconditional Love.

After wishing dad a safe trip home your mom and I spent the day in Detroit shopping and wondering about before the Tigers game. Mommy did not get her afternoon nap and we were up way late… this morning was hard on her. We need to keep a better watch on keeping her rested. We told the rest of the small group from church last night as well w/ pink and blue M&M’s while at the Tigers game.

You are totally being surrounded in pray little precious one.

I Love You.
