First Heart Beat
Praise God for the wonders of His creation. Erin and I were able to hear Little E’s heartbeat today. It was a wonderful event and brought on a new level of realism to the whole thing. I was standing there holding Erin’s hand and I could catch a small tear of joy in her eye. She is such a precious woman and I can’t thank the Lord for bringing us together and then to top it all of He has blessed us with the gift of this precious child.
The doctor estimated the heart beat to be around 160 beats per minute and placed us about 12 to 13 weeks along… well we had us at 12.5 weeks so it looks like we are all on the same page. I will have to miss Erin’s next appointment since I will be flying back in from a business trip in Boston. I have not been out there in well over a year (maybe two) so it will be a great time to get to see the group that I worked with before we moved out here. It was a fun time out there, but I would not change anything. We are suppose to be here in Midland, and we have made this a wonderful home… and now our family is getting larger.

We can’t wait to meet you and it was so wonderful to hear your heart beat today. Stay healthy. We are praying for you. I have so much to tell you and I am sure that I will get some of it down in this forum before you are born but there will be so much more to tell you and share with you once you are here. We Love you little one.
