So just yesterday I posted that every time I attempt to feel Little E kick thing quiet down and I never feel the little one moving. Well last night we were over at Dan and Traci’s place when Erin grabs me an place my hand on her lower stomach… and then… I felt it. I felt Little E kick. I was and am so excited. Oh the changes to our life are only now beginning to change.

Thanks Little E for letting me feel you moving. I was beginning to think you were hiding.

Okay Little E, mommy has been feeling you kick for a while now. The hard part is that she calls me over to see if I can feel you moving around. At this point one of two things is happening: you either stop moving or I just can’t feel it yet. I am not worried little one, I know the day will come when I will be able to feel you moving around in there and I know at that point my heart will melt.

So I have started to talk to you at night, well I have only done it twice now but I want to start making it something regular. That was you can start learning my voice and hopefully find comfort in it. I might even try signing to you.

Today (11.11.2004) was the first glimpse that we had into the wonders of the Lord’s creation that is Little E. We did not find out, nor did we want to if you are a boy or a girl. I am so excited to find out in April.

So we arrived at the hospital early and thus we were able to get in and finished early. It was so amazing to see the little arms, legs, head, and all the parts moving. It was amazing to see the heart pumping at 145 beats per minute, all four chambers pumping away. There was one shot where we could see Little E sucking on a thumb.

It was just so amazing to see, I can’t even imagine what I will feel come April.

May God continue to bless this child and and the continued development.

From what Erin and tell Little E, she is feeling you move around now. The time was around 11:00 on November 09, 2004. We are very excited… now as you grow I will hopefully be able to feel you moving around. Try not to kick mommy to hard.

We are so excited, we get to see you tomorrow. We are having an ultrasound and then mommy is running off with Jen and Traci to do some shopping.

Well after a couple of long (14+ hours) days at work last week I was feeling a bit burned out and the weekend did not take it away. So after working for a while on Monday morning to tie up some loose ends of the project Friday night I decided to take the rest of the day off. The very nice part is that Erin took the time off as well. We had a day away from it all, just the three of us.

Off we headed to the outlet mall to get some Christmas shopping done. After a slow start we got into the swing and by the time the day was over we had the lions share of our shopping done for Christmas. It was a great day to relax and spend the day with Erin and Little E.

Tuesday was a much more relaxing day at work and I felt refreshed.
