So begins the next portion of the journey Little E. After your mommies check up today we headed home and I finished up with work. After work we headed out with Nuba what has become our standard short walk after work to keep mommy moving and to see if we could help move along some progress. Congratulations she is having contractions the whole time we were on the walk and they were about five minutes apart. After the walk he headed out for a little dinner and kept seeing the contractions. Heading home from dinner we decided it was time to call the doctors and see what they had to say. They had us come on into the hospital. So around 9:20 p.m. on April 11, 2005 we headed left the house and headed over to the hospital. On our way we where telling ourselves that they would be sending us home so that we would be pleasantly surprised if we stayed… well it turned out that we are staying. We are in room 11 which turns out to be the same room that our friend Tracey was in when she gave birth to Shelby. Erin is being taken care of by a wonderful nurse Ann and a great resident Jill.
Mommies contractions are still about five minutes apart and your heart rate is ranging from 150 to 180 beats per minute… not to mention that you are moving around a lot. At last check Erin was 90% effaced and 1 cm dilated. It is currently 11:45 p.m. and we are both trying to write some notes to remember the moments and then off to dream land to try to get some sleep before the big day tomorrow… that is right tomorrow is your birthday!!!
I am so excited to finally meet you tomorrow and to finally get to hold you. I Love You so much Little E and I am so proud of Erin for all that she has done so far and all that she will be doing tomorrow. She is the greatest mother that I could have ever dreamed of for you, she is a very special lady and I know that God designed her just for me and you.
I Love You Little E.
