Well little one I am very glad that you can roll over and you do it very well but while you are on the diaper changing table then you should not roll over.

Happy Five Month Birthday

Emily, guess what? That is right, you are now five months old. Wow how the time is passing and how you are growing up little one. I just can’t explain how much that I love you. Wow the things you have accomplished.
- rolling from your back to your tummy
- rolling from your tummy to your back
- eating cereal now
- recognizing faces and voices
- sleeping for long stretches at night
- holding your bottle all by yourself at daycare
- chattering all the time
- starting to laugh… we think
- showing mommy and daddy your love

Mmmm

Well little one you have started into the world of solid foods now. That is right, last night mommy and I feed you some rice cereal. Mmmm doesn’t that sound great? Well you seemed to enjoy it and in fact were upset when we stopped feeding you. We started out with only about five teaspoons of total volume between the milk and the cereal with a very runny consistency. It was so fun to sit there with mommy and feed you with the spoon. It is such a great joy to watch you grow up.
