It was a great thanksgiving little Emily. You played all day with Olivia, Dave, mommy, daddy and we can’t forget ducky. A couple of good naps and a big dinner. Before we all sat down to start eating you decided that you would get started on the turkey leg. Well it was just going to be a staged picture of you sitting behind the big turkey leg but you just reached out and grabbed ahold and mommy had to wrestle it away from you. You did enjoy your sweet potato and turkey meal from Gerber… but I think you would have enjoyed the big turkey leg more.
No leftovers for you, the next day it was back to banannas.
And to top it all off you were a little fussy during the night and you then got to sleep in the big bed with mommy and daddy. It seems that any time we are not a home you get to cuddle in with mommy and daddy.
Love,
Daddy

Happy Thanksgiving (a couple days early)
We will tell you all about the history of Thanksgiving as you grow up. This being your first thanksgiving and not ready for big people food yet mommy made sure to get you a special meal. Sweet potatoes and turkey. Doesn’t that sound great? I know the real thing will be and I just hope that you like your baby version as well.
Love,
Daddy

Emily you are such a beautiful little girl and you are adorable. I hope that you are having a great seven month birthday with mommy today. I will be thinking about you all day while I am out hiking with Dave, Dan and Joe.
What a wonderful adventure these first seven months have been. It is truly amazing watching you grow and learning new things each day. I think the best part about now is that you are really recognizing people and objects. It is so wonderful to see you face light up when mommy or I walk into the room and you hear our voice or see us. It is even fun to see you do the same when Nuba comes in. We thinking you are trying to say Nuba. When she comes around, you start making noises that are getting closer to Nuba… of course that might just be parents wishful thinking.
I Love You.

Oh a daddy’s heart is warm when he looks down at such a wonderful snapshot of his little girl. A huge thank you to Shannon and mommy for arranging for you to wear the Huskers jersey. This week at day care is spirit week and today is sports day… or something like that. Mommy borrowed this wonderful jersey from Shannon so that you could be the cutest one at daycare. It is a little big on you since it is a 4T, that just make is look like a real jersey.
I Love You Emily.
Love,
Daddy
