Blowing bubbles, new shoes, running and having fun

Sorry little one that I have not been writing on a more regular basis. I keep saying that I am going to get better and will keep trying. So this will be a bit of catching up.

While in the bath tub I we have been trying to get you to blow bubbles. Then one night I just asked you if you could blow bubbles, you lowered your face into the water and blew some bubbles. Mommy and I were both amazed. I had only showed you a couple of times and those times you really didn’t want anything to do with it. I am guessing you were just sitting back and taking it all in.

The amazement from the bath tub does not stop there. You have this little float with a fish inside the plastic bubble and when you hold it under water it bubbles out while it fills with water. For some time mommy and I have been pushing it under the water and then pulling it out and letting the water shower out. Then just last week mommy told me you started doing it on your own… and then last night you showed me how you can do it.

After out growing your cute little pink soft shoes we got you a couple new pairs. A little pink pair of tennis shoes and a pair of white shoes. It amazes me how fast you are growing and how each day you are cuter than the day before. Mommy and grandmas do a great job at picking out cut closes for you.

Now with the new shoes and a few weeks of walking under your belt you are starting to get faster and faster… you almost have a run down now. You still have to be careful so that you don’t fall down and get a boo boo. Yesterday you did get your first scrapped up knee while we were at the splash park.

While daddy was traveling last week for work you blew the best kissed to me over the phone and it helped to make me feel closer to you. The time away from mommy and you is never exciting and I am always ready to be home.

I Love You sweet Emily.
Daddy
