It was a great day at the zoo. The best part was hearing all the new words that Emily learned and said. The two that were most prominent were broccoli and peacock. Every time that we saw a peacock she would announce “peacock” and then we were watching the snow monkeys playing and one reached down into a pool of water and picked up a head of broccoli and our little one pointed and said “broccoli”. Okay, she knows what broccoli is and enjoys eating it has never said the word and for being able to recognize what it was from the distance was amazing. Here are some shots from the zoo.
