Looks like you have caught RSV and are not having fun with it. Some of the joys of daycare. We will get over it and try to keep you temp down the best we can.

Sentences

Emily are amaze us daily now. Yesterday as well as before that you started to form whole sentences… sometime they are only a few words long but they are awesome. Last night you proclaimed at dinner “I like ketchup”. And somehow you now know all of the last names of your friends at school. You amaze us each day little E and we are so thankful to God for you.

Love,
Daddy

Christmas

Merry (late) Christmas… but not to late since this weekend is only Epiphany. Wow this year was a great Christmas to be home, be family, have fun and celebrate Jesus’ birth. We started out Christmas eve morning by making our traditional breakfast of strada which Emily added a few letters to, stadadada, and Jesus birthday bread (cinnamon pull aparts). We sang happy birthday and had a wonderful day. That evening we went to worship and Emily did so wonderful for it being late. About 40 minutes into the service she had enough and had to be held in the back of the sanctuary until we started singing Silent Night. Off to home to have a snack with mommy and daddy of meat and cheese, put out some cookies and milk, open a couple of presents and then off to bed. The next morning was so fun opening gifts and watching the excitement on Emily’s face. After a few gifts she just wanted to play… it took a little while to get through all of the presents but that is okay. The rest of the break was spent just playing. Daddy has been taught now how to help take care of baby dolls.

Merry Christmas all.

Love,
The Lacher Family
