While driving home the other day we passed by a farm that had some llamas in the field. I pointed them out to Emily. She replied “there is no red on them”. It is simply amazing the memory and complex thoughts that you put together little one.

Emily and I were driving to Meijer and listening to the youth worship cd. The lyrics proclaimed that He (Jesus) is our majesty. I said to Emily, Jesus is or majesty. Emily paused for a moment and said “Jesus died on the cross. He takes our sins away, they are all gone”. My heart was so excited to hear her proclaiming the good news.
God Bless Emily.
Mommy, Daddy and Jesus love you.

I started a few days back when Emily asked “Am I your babycakes?”. We looked at each other and neither of us had called her that but we went with it. Now it has been common for her to say “I am you babycakes” and then ensure to also inform us that she is not a baby but a toddler. So as we were going through this this morning I said “that is right you are my toddler babycakes”. Mommy added that even after the new baby (little b) arrives that Emily will still be our babycakes.
We love you little toddler babycakes. We are so very excited for you to be a big sister.
God’s Blessings,
Daddy & Mommy

What I learned today…
When washing a waterproof mattress pad ensure that you take it out of the washing machine slowly to let the pooled water drain out into the washer instead of all over you and the floor.
