I write this while on a business trip for Sun out to Boston (Burlington). This week I was suppose to fly to California for a SEED conference but decided for work life balance that since I was not going to be speaking at it and I needed to make this trip to Boston that I would flop to this trip and cancel the Cali trip. So in setting up some times to meet with old friends I come to find out the Kevin and Aline are more than likely going to deliver their fourth child while I am out here. Let me rewind a bit. The last time that was out here in Boston was about two and half years ago, and while I was here the twin girls were born so being here when Nathan came into the world is so awesome and I love how God weaves it all together. Before I leave town today, I get the joy of swinging by the hospital and meeting the newest little man in the Davis’ clan.
So Wednesday night I was suppose to have dinner with MDP and Bryan but MDP was sick, so I headed over to the Davis’ house for a couple hours of hanging out the night before the birth. I arrived after the girls were in bed but right before left I asked if I could go and sneek a peak at the little angels. I was so missing my four ladies while I peered in at Hope and Rachel snug in their beds. Each night before Erin and I head off to bed we look in our two princesses and almost every night I lean in and give them a kiss on the head and tell them that Daddy loves them… I hope they don’t mind that when they get older… but I am sure they will be going to sleep after me at some point.
