P is for Pneumonia
I am really tired so this is the abridged version…after 5 hours at Urgent Care, complete with chest x-ray, two nebulizer treatments, a culture to test for RSV and influenza (through the nose) and an antibiotic shot, Norah has been diagnosed with pneumonia. A big thanks to the nursing staff there who were kind enough to give us some food and milk from their lounge since we were there until 5pm and Norah hadn’t eaten anything since breakfast (and proceeded to vomit all over the bathroom and kitchen prior to us leaving for Urgent Care). It was a bit scary for a while because she could hardly breathe and her little heart was just pounding - but she seems to be doing a bit better now. Prayers that she will be protected and healed over the next few days.
Also, I forgot to mention the other day that when you sing the opening line to “Old MacDonald”, Norah treats you with a “E-I-E-I-O”. It is so cute.
