Conversations from playtime with mommy the other night…

Norah: Mommy, let me get my measure so I can check your head……it’s pretty big.
Mommy: How big is it?
Norah: Twenty oh five.

Emily: Here Mommy you need to watch my baby for me, I need to go to work.
Mommy: Oh, what do you do for your job?
Emily : I wash tables.
Mommy: Oh, I thought you wanted to be a doctor? (note: she has been saying for months that she wants to be a “family doctor” when she grows up!)
Emily: Yeah, that is for real, but this is for pretend. (she then proceeded to use a baby blanket to wipe down nearly every surface in the play area before returning from “work” to retrieve her baby)
