Sunday Worship

So yesterday, somewhere in between Norah coughing so hard during the night that she threw up, and last night when her whole body was trembling as a result of her fever, we had some awesome moments.  Since Norah was sick we stayed home from church and had an important lesson about how we can worship God anywhere.  Norah decided as part of worship she wanted “the song from E-Free when we ate cookies.”  Translation:  Chris Tomlin’s song “Our God”, which was a key part of the Passionate Worship HIStory event in November.  Emily grabbed her Bible and asked for help finding 1 Samuel.  Once we got there and reviewed the contents, she decided our reading should be from Chapter 17 – David vs Goliath. Do you see what a cool thing God did for our family worship time?  He used our daughters to craft together a unified theme of our God being greater than any obstacle!  How awesome is that?!  We then each offered words of prayer, and then to close we sang 3 verses of Away in the Manger.  All in all, a very worshipful time with the whole family.
