Emily has an important announcement to make about today:

That’s right, Julia took 5 or 6 unassisted steps between Dan and I today! I am so glad we were all here to witness it. Emily and Norah were so excited they were jumping up and down. Julia seemed a bit confused at first, then got into the excitement as well. I grabbed the camera and got a few pictures but they are really not very good, will try again in a few days. It is hard to take the pictures when she is wobbling into your arms! I made a comment that I needed to write it in her calendar and Emily said something about how she was just going to write it down; moments later she presented me with the little sign in the photo above. I love that she is so proud of her little sister, just like we are.

    Way to go Julia!!! Glad to see Emily is still using her Siebert tablet from the school fun fair we went to while you were in China. I knew she would be walking here soon, now watch out as she will figure out it is easier to walk and explore than crawl. It was also her Uncle Marc’s 7 year work anniversary and his half birthday as he is now halfway to 31. Big hugs to Julia on her accomplishment!!! That sheet Emily wrote will be a keeper for Julia’s book. Love you all and miss being there with you.

    Way to go Julia!!!! Eliana will tell you that once you are walking climbing is way better then just walking around!
