Busy Day
It was quite a busy day around here. First off, after a rocky road of emotions over the weekend this Mommy got off to a new start today and it feels wonderful. Throw in a catnap and some quality French Open watching and you have yourself a pretty awesome day.
Emily had gym class, brought home a stack of artwork and papers two inches thick, and took a big girl shower without needing Mommy’s help to rinse her hair.
Norah scraped both hands and one knee all before lunch and followed that up with a 2 1/2 hr nap and leftover gelato for snack.
Julia used pistachio pudding as a hair styling aid, and stood up all by herself for the first (and second, and third, etc.) time, followed by several steps. It won’t be long before her preferred mode of travel switches from crawling to walking.
Oh, and Dan had a busy day of work punctuated by me calling him a million times with random questions (sorry honey). And he whipped up some awesome black bean chicken quesadillas for dinner.
Yep, a pretty busy day. Makes me excited for what tomorrow will bring.
