We are so blessed to live in this country where we are free to worship our God, vote for our leaders, and speak our opinions. Quite a contrast to many other areas of the world, including Julia’s birth country. We look forward to teaching her about liberty and freedom as she grows. In the meantime, we have so far this weekend learned that she LOVES fajitas! Yes I know, eating Mexican food doesn’t seem very holiday appropriate. Don’t worry, tomorrow we will be grilling steak and eating red, white, and blue Jello parfaits, and of course the girls will be decked out in festive colors. And we will also be learning whether Julia is afraid of fireworks…
